It : It is not possible to diagnose you in this forum. You need a comprehensive psychological evaluation to determine if you have personality disorder. With that said, certainly you are having difficulty with relationships. Why don't you look into seeing a clinical social worker, counselor or clinical psychologist in the fall river area for some assistance with your interpersonal relationships.

Personality Disorder: If you lack compassion you probably have not developed your empathic range to the fullest. Consult a mental health professional who can help you open up and enter the world of others. Empathy is necessary for intimacy to be maintained and it can be taught, it is like a muscle, lack of use allows it to atrophy. Best.
