Hard to say: If the radiation caused you to have edema it could happen. There could be a lot of other causes depending on the tumor site and area of radiation. There a a number of other things besides the radiation. Please discuss with your doctor.

Consult your doctor: This could be nerve damage, there are some medicines like Neurontin (gabapentin) and many topicals that could relieve your pain. Consult your physisian to see what would worlk best for you.

It could be.: If found to be i would consider supplementing with metanx if no contraindications. It helps reverse radiation induced neuropathy.

Abnormal nerve: Neuropathy is a condition resulting from abnormal nerve function. Neuropathy can be due to certain vitamin deficiencies, nerve damage due to trauma, alcohol consumption, radiation, side effects of certain medications, or due to certain medical conditions such as diabetes. Treatment varies depending on the cause of the problem. Have it evaluated and appropriately treated.
