Depends: Depends on the exact location. There is a small structure that may look similar on each cheek by the maxillary first molar called the parotid papilla. This is where the parotid salivary gland empties out into the mouth and it may be what you are referring to. If you are unsure, see your dentist...But the parotid papilla is abnormal structure.

Yes see your Dentist: It could be so many things. Abcess, cheek bite, parotid duct, lesion... Go see your dentis for proper identificación and treatment.

Mucocele: It sounds like a mucocele. This is a benign growth on mucous membranes that if traumatized (bitten) can look purple. It is safe and poses no problems. Goes away by itself in a few weeks. If it persists longer than that, see your doctor.
