A member asked:

For 5 years i have been extremely cold, when everyone else is hot or warm. i am constantly shivering at school, and most of the time my fingers turn purple. i've done some research, and most of my symptoms look like they are symptoms of raynaud's disease.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could be: Classically people with raynaud's can have white finger color changes as well as red and purple. The fingers turning blue alone is not diagnostic. Your evaluation will also look at other things like a thyroid disorder. If you have raynauds there were other medical conditions that need to be evaluated.
