29yr male, recently have acne on my face, never had a problem with it. no changes in daily life,started on forehead , and then cheeks. prescribed oral antibiotics , can i avoid this medication? i dont wanna take it for too long. acne scars afterheal?

There are other options to oral antibiotics for acne and could be found without prescription. I would suggest you make sure you do not have like something on your scalp that may have started the facial rash. If you do, head and should shampoo may be helpful otherwise there are various topical agents for cleaning and application subsequently that would limit acne in the future and reduce scarring.
