It may be: Low spo2 may be a symptom of COPD as well as many other lung or heart problems, not to mention sleep apnea etc. Your doctor can help you with the differential diagnosis, which is quite broad.

Yes, one of them.: COPD symptoms include shortness of breath, wheezing, chest tightness & chronic cough; spo2 stands for saturation of peripheral o2. It's measured by passing infrared light thru your finger-no pain! the difference in speed with which infrared passes thru finger depends on how much o2 is in the blood. COPD typically 88%-92% and in healthy lungs, typically 94% or higher.

Copd: people with COPD have low SpO2, shortness of breath worse with exertion, chronic cough. The stages of COPD will effect amount of symptoms everyone has. Hope that helps
