Symptoms...: Symptoms of COPD include cough with sputum production which will be above the smoker's baseline cough. Also, shortness of breath, wheezing, weight loss or gain, difficulty sleeping. These symptoms will be worse than the smokers' baseline. The best treatment as well as prevention is smoking cessation which your doctor can help you with.
