Control cholesterol: The symptoms you describe suggest pain due to issues with the chest wall. However, cardiac disease remains a possibility. Chest pain: It sounds more like costochondritis ie inflammation of the chest wall at the costochondral joints, than cardiac - related. Try Motrin to relieve it. If you can press on your chest and feel pain -- it pretty much confirms chondritis.
