Am 41 weeks and 4 days pregnant two days ago they carried out an induction for my labour to start bt nothing happened no dilation they told me to go back home is it dangerous to go past your due date?

YES - fetal demise!: With any pregnancy that continues past the due date there is an exponentially increasing risk for sudden fetal death. If you had an early (<24 weeks) ultrasound that determines your due date with reliability, then you should not go past three days from your due date. Talk to your obstetrician about your best option for safe and prompt delivery -best of luck!

At 41 weeks and 4 da: Days u should be delivered either vaginally or by c-section ! and now u are 41-6 too much chance for a bad outcome if baby stays inside, and everyone has to be delivered by 42 weeks no matter what, I do not let my pts go past 40 weeks and my pts do not want to, there are advantages if u have a csection like not stretching out the vagina or tears that can damage the rectum or shoulder dystocia!
