Good question: labor is marked by regular contractions that occur every 5-10 mins on a regular basis with dilation of the cervix. Your cervix is favorable and once your contractions pick up the intensity and frequency, you can consider yourself to be in labor. Patience is key. It may take a day or a week but the importance is to let your body do it on its own.
