Rheumaoid factor: If you are having symptoms of arthritis the rheumatoid factor would be evidence of rheumatoid arthritis. However, of people with rheumatoid arthritis 20% will be negative for rheumatoid factor while some studies have shown that 20% of normal people will have a positive rheumatoid factor. If arthritic symptoms test indicates rheumatoid arthritis, but if you have no arthritis meaning unknown.
