Pain, small pupil: Pain in the arm and shoulder, a small pupil, and loss of sweating on the face, all on the same side. This is caused by a lung cancer in the upper part of the lung which compresses nerves at the base of the neck.

Superior sulcus: This is a syndrome that results from a tumor that sits in the top or apex of the lung, called a superior sulcus tumor. These tumors if appropriate stage should be removed surgically. The symptoms should resolve, except for the facial smptoms (horner's syndrome).
