Do symptoms like pancoast syndrome go away quickly?

It depends: It depends if the symptoms are caused by tumor compression or direct invasion. If it is compression the symptoms are more likely to resolve with treatment.

No, usually worsens: Usually pancoast symptoms worsen as the lung cancer gets bigger and invades more tissue... Surgery and/or radiation may relieve the symptoms ...
