HIV infection: Hiv is a virus that causes immune destruction and thus death in humans. Nearly 45 million humans are currently infected in the world. It is transmitted through semen, blood, and occasionally from other body fluids such a vaginal and rectal fluids that line these cavities. It is not transmitted easily and those living in close quarters to someone with HIV do not get this infection easily.
