UTI: How long have you been on the antibiotic? Do you get utis frequently? Perhaps the bacteria causing your UTI are resistant to the antibiotic. See your doc again to have urine culture & sensitivity done to determine best antibiotic to use. May need to see urologist if recurrent utis to determine the cause.

Resistance: Antibiotic resistance could be your problem. Talk to your md about the results of a urine culture if it was done.
