No imminent death: You are not going to die. Stay very well hydrated, then start your meds as soon as you can get them. You want to push oral fluids so you can flush the urinary tract. Good luck.

UTI: It is quite important to get the medicine as quickly as possible particularly if you have fever. This can get worse and your kidneys can be infected too. This is certainly more serious and can require hospitalization. Please get the medicine and start taking it as soon as possible, .
