I have an on and off ear infections in one ear, it releases a white cottage cheese substance. ongoing headache and a uti. i'm on meds now but why do i have an ear infection every time i get sick? also recurrent pleural effusion. please assist.

Infection: Drainage from ear canal is often more associated with external infection and needs ear drops. Recurrent pleural effusion should probably be evaluated.
