Neither: Standing by itself does not necessarily predispose you to blood clots. Immobility is the main risk factor that has been in the news lately, related to a blood clot forming due to stasis of the blood in the veins when you aren't moving. It you have to stand for a long time, or sit for a long time, make sure you are moving your legs periodically.
