I have a hyperthroid and my throat is hurting is this normal?

No: If you are diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and have not sought after treatment then it could be painful. Common symptoms of hyperthyroidism are weight loss, tremors, palpitations, anxiety, difficulty sleeping. I recommend going to your physician. It is possible also to have a "normal" throat infection.
