Go see your doctor: Most headaches that last this long are most likely due to muscle spasms from the neck or shoulder. Put ice on the back of your head and take 800mg of Ibuprofen every 8hrs not exceeding 3g. Do not take too much if you have stomach problems or history of stomach bleeding. If this doesn't resolve go see your physician.

Need more info. : I would want to know if the painful area is tender to palpation, . Is there an area or any activity that triggeers or amplifies the pain or referrs th pain to the area of the primary complaint? If the painful area can be palpated causi;ng an increase in pain the problem is outside the brain which should be the first concern. Tmj, mastoid infestion, muscle strain or sprain can cause the.
