About a week prior to my cycle i start having headaches that get progressively worse until cycle. base of skull and back are affected.cause?

Hormonal: If headaches occur with every cycle in the same way then they are more than likely caused by hormonal fluctuations which are a normal part of the cycle. There are many options available to treat this some, as easy as taking over the counter headache medications, and sometimes involving hormones or other meds.
