A member asked:

Why would i have a headache at the base of skull where neck meets on the sides just off center?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The following may be: If a quite focal headache over the back of skull, could be occipital neuralgia, perhaps there is a problem in your neck such as a facet arthropathy, or a disc rupture. Perhaps this is a muscle contraction headache or even an atypical migraine. See your doctor, get examined and even get imaging studies.
