Depends: If you vomit immediately after taking the pain pills and see pills in the emesis then you could retake them but if it's been an hour or more then probably not. I would check with your surgeon to make sure.

Carefully !: If you vomit a few minutes after the med you may retake another dose. If more than 15 minutes i'd worry about another dose.
