See below: I would suggest a spinal or epidural. It is rare to be truely "allergic" to all pain meds. Do you develop hives or just get sick to your stomach? If it is just nausea and vomiting there are medications you can take to prevent this. Talk to your anesthesiologist.

Speak with: Your anesthesiologist. He will be able to come up with a plan that a gives you good pain relief. You may want to consider having an epidural for your post operative pain management.
