Theres a hard, painful lump under the skin on the side of my bikini line. no head or opening. doc says its not a lymph node. how can i get rid of it?

Sounds like a cyst.: But no online consultant will be as accurate as seeing someone in person. Unfortunately, you have already done that and did not get much help. So at this point i would recommend seeing an abps-certified plastic surgeon who can not only tell you what s/he thinks it is, but can carefully remove it surgically (local anesthesia) with the least scar. Scar or lump? That's your choice!

Need more info.: I don't think i can say what to do if we're not sure what it is. Did your physician say what it was? Did he have suggestions for you?
