Stop D2, Take D3: The 50, 000 iu form of d is vitamin d2. I don't know why doctors prescribe this as research shows it increases mortality by 2% whereas vit d3 reduces mortality by 6%.I advise stopping dangerous d2 & taking d3- most adults need 5-8, 000 iu/day to achieve optimal levels-best to take with vits a&k.See http://articles.Mercola.Com/sites/articles/archive/2011/11/30/taking-the-right-type-of-vitamin-d.Aspx.
