Vitamin b3 is supposed to help with staph infections. can it help people who get boils often? which is better for that if they were diabetic?

Not sure about that: Not sure about vitamin b3 (niacin) helping clear boils and staph infections. That might only be the case if a person is Niacin deficient. Niacin deficiency can cause dermatitis and other skin rashes. Haven't heard people with normal (not deficient) Niacin needing any extra Niacin to heal from boils or staph infections.

Verdict is out: I don't think there is enough evidence to support the use of vitamin B3 (niacin) for the prevention of diabetes or staph infections. The best defense is WELL-controlled diabetes (HbA1c less than 7.0)
