No, none: Mris are not risky at all. There is no radiation. X-rays are not used. If your particular study needs a contrast dye, that is something to look into if you have allergies to certain chemicals or kidney disease. Also, you can't have any metal in your body, including piercings and some body modifications (e.g. Certain tattoos).

Depends: It is totally safe as long as you do not have certain types of metal in your body, such as aneurism clips. Prior to getting an mri, all patients are screened for metal.
