Anatomy: Thin people have little internal fat; bowel can get bunched up in the pelvis. Some people have lots of loops amd turns in the bowel-more of a challenge. Some people have internal scars (adhesions)-harder to get around. Some have inflammation. Some are resistant to meds. Some docs have a heavy hand.

Agree with Dr. H: If done properly, colonoscopy is performed under sedation and you should not feel anything, much less pain. You may wish to consult a gastro-entrologist with more experience in colonoscopy.
