Yes possibly: Sleep position can definitely cause a number of aches & pains, especially if one regularly sleeps on the same side & is relatively inactive. A Dr exam to be sure nothing else is wrong would be advisable, but a good physical therapist can then assess & recommend exercises, special pillow, etc to minimize the discomfort
