The pharmacological: Effect is 24 hours but the biological effect may easily last 48 hours or rarely longer depending on a variety of factors.

About a week or so: If a patient of mine takes suboxone, it will not be detected in the urine test i perform after about one week. It does however depend upon the dose as a higher dose will remain detectable longer compared to a lower dose. The effects a person experiences from Suboxone usually begin to wear off after about 24 hours, again depending on the dose. Good question.
