About 5-8 hrs: for naloxone to be out of your system 1/2 life is 1-1.3 hrs. If you are worried about the blocking capacity the buprenorphine is the actual blocker not the naloxone but the buprenorphine and it takes several days to be out of your system 1/2 life 24-48 hrs average 36 hrs. So other narcotics will not work as long as the buprenorphine is in your system
