Pediatric strep, a week after antibiotic treatment energy levels and endurance lower than prior to infection. normal?

Strep?: Was the infection definitely strep? Was a strep test or bloodwork done? Ebv (mono) can present very much like strep: sore throat, swollen glands, & typically is associated with loss of energy & easy fatigue. Treatment for mono is rest, healthful meals, mild-moderate exercise to tolerance, taking a break when tiredness sets in. See doc for posssible ebv workup.
