Follow up with MD: You should probably contact your physician and let him/her know the antibiotic is not helping yet. It may be fine, or may be that the bacteria causing your infection are resistant to clindamycin (so another antibiotic will likely be more effective). Antibiotics often have side effects that could be contributing to your ongoing symptoms, but if your infection is not better, call your doctor.
