Why is my ears always have so much wax in it?

Wax is normal: Healthy ears produce wax as a protective layer coating the ear canal. Among other things, the wax helps to prevent fungal infections that would otherwise set in in a warm moist cavity like your ear canal. The skin of your ear canal is designed to expel the wax at a normal rate and using things such as q-tips can disrupt the normal amount of wax needed to protect your ears. If blockage - see ent.
