Keloidalis Nuchae: Keloidalis nuchae is a destructive scarring folliculitis that occurs exclusively on the occipital scalp and posterior neck and affecting mostly african american men aged 13-25 years. Acne vulgaris is a common skin disease characterized by inflammatory lesions called zits with redness, swelling, pain, and white pus. Antibiotics used in keloidalis nuchae differ from ones used in acne vulgaris.
