Possible infection.: Urine that is foul smelling can come from a bladder infection where bacteria grow in the urine. This is usually accompanied by pelvic pain and burning with urination. Certain foods that we eat, notably asparagus, can impart odor to the urine. If you have symptoms or the odor doesn't disappear, see your physician for a checkup and urinalysis.
