What are the first symptoms of lung cancer?

None: Unfortunately, lung cancer is a silent disease. Symptoms such as coughing up blood, shortness of breath, pain or loss of weight are usually late and signify advanced disease. Chest x-rays and ct scans can detect early disease. They are not recommended in your age group because they are not cost-effective, but if you are really worried, get yourself checked.

Nothing specific: You cannot rely on symptoms for early detection. A ct scan of the chest is an effective screening tool in high risk individuals.
