Paraneoplastic,etc..: Small cell lung cancer is like other lung cancers, but it also often presents with a paraneoplastic syndrome due to its neurosecretory granules which contain neuroendocrine hormone. The lambert-eaton myasthenic syndrome (muscle weakness due to auto-antibodies), is a prime example. Most arise in the larger airways (primary and secondary bronchi), and include syx. Like fatigue, dyspnea, and cough.

Shortness of breath: Shortness of breath and hemoptysis are common. Often they are asymptomatic or minimally symptomatic until you have extensive disease. Depending on the spread of disease, pain and neurologic issue can arise.

Varies: Shortness of breath and cough would be the most common symptoms. Many times, at earlier stage, patients are asymptomatic or just having a very minimal symptoms. In /extensive stage, other systemic symptoms like chest pain, weight loss, decrease in apetite, fatigue, and other symptoms caused by metastatic disease-( depending on the location ) ie- bony pain, neurologic problems etc also can happen.

Depends : Most patients with lung cancer have no symptoms and find a lung mass on radiologic studies for something else entirely. When symptoms present it could indicate more advanced disease. Typical chest symptoms are coughing up blood, new cough or difficulty breathing, chest pain.
