What happens if derm doc biopsies part of your tattoo?

Biopsy: The pathologist will see that on the biopsy. You will have a scar at the biopsy site and area could get infected but this is rare.

Not much: It means the biopsied tissue sample will be read by a pathologist, usually as a scar with ink/pigment. The biopsy is usually very small and heals well. The risk of infection is very low.
