A therapy problem: "antidepressants" (like paxil) are used to treat anxiety (but it is odd s/he would recommend Paxil (paroxetine) specifically, among many drugs in this class). But you have a bigger problem. You have doubts about your psychologist, but i gather you haven't addressed them with him/her directly. You need to do that. Asap. If s/he cannot have a constructive discussion about your concerns, then find someone else.
