Is supraventricular tachycardia deadly?

Usually not: Svt is an arrhythmia originating in the top portions of the heart. It may be caused by an abnormal circuit within the heart's electrical system that the patient was actually born with. Heart rates can reach up to 180-200 BPM and rfe patient may fell pretty lousey with this but do not carry the same clinical implications as vt. These can usually be treated with medications or catheter ablation.

Not usually: Svt should no be deadly. If it lasts for a long time(many hours or days), the heart can get tired and that is potentially dangerous.
