A member asked:

Is some bleeding normal during early pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: When the pregnancy implants into the endometrial lining of your uterus you may have light bleeding. In addition, the cervix is often friable in pregnancy (irritated looking and bleeds easily). Sex, a pap, and vaginal exam may cause bleeding too. However, discuss your bleeding with your doctor as not all of it is normal.
