Pregnancy bleeding: If pregnancy has been confirmed, it is not normal to have bleeding, especially heavy bleeding, during the first weeks of pregnancy. Pregnancies outside of the uterus in location (ectopic) may cause this kind of bleeding, and should be dealt with immediately. See your OB provider to make certain you do not have a tubal pregnancy, which can be life threatening.
