It is not normal: It is not normal but bleeding is common in early pregnancy. Whenever there is bleeding in early pregnancy we call it a possible miscarriage. Most of the time it is not a big deal at all though as long as there is only a small amount of blood and no pain. If you begin to bleed more than one pad an hour or have pain then you will need to see a doctor to get an ultrasound and some blood work.
