A member asked:

How can i help a 92 years old lady, who has mild dementia, and she believes that she can still do everything?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Modify expectations : Often such stubbornness is a combination of cognitive deficits and pride. Tasks that she wants to do can be modified in reasonable ways so that she can accomplish parts of the tasks and retain her sense of independence/pride.
