A member asked:

Could my body clock ever get used to 6 hours sleep and how long would it take?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: Everyone is different regarding their sleep needs and patterns. It is possible that you might be able to adapt to such a schedue. On the other hand, you may be too fatigued and never be able to do so. Normally, people need 7-8 hours for restorative sleep. You may be different. You will know.
