Depends on the doc: And your pain threshold, the more biopsies the more painful, your doc may or may not numb up your cervix and your doc should have told u that u can take a pain med before, call your dco to see what your dco rec.

Not very painful: It's VERY important to get a colposcopy if your pap is abnormal. A colposcopy is a speculum exam where special stains and magnifying lenses are used to look for pre-cancers on your cervix. If there are abnormalities, your GYN will take a biopsy, which is uncomfortable, but lasts
