Yes: There are many pain medications that can be safely taken in combination with cymbalta (duloxetine). The caution with tramadol relates to a theoretical risk of combining medications that increase serotonin. This is a caution only and not a contraindication. I would check with the prescribing physicians, they may be fine with you being on both.
