What can a monitor do to help detect respiratory and cardiac arrest in a preemie?

Early warning: The presence of a normal breathing wave & frequency along with a normal heart rate & wave gives a visual conformation of the premi's stable state. If the breathing rate begins to slow & the pulse rate slow also, you can tell from across the room that something bad may be starting. This allows the staff to start checking for equipment faults or other issues & helps them begin resuscitation early

See below: It literally detects the stopping of respirations or heartbeat. I assume you mean the monitor in the hospital. If you are talking about the house video cams, then nothing.
